Subprocessors

This page lists the subprocessors DevDocs uses to operate hosted.devdocs.ai. It is specific to this product: hosted.devdocs.ai runs on its own stack and ships its own list rather than inheriting one written for a different service.

Current stack categories: platform (Cloudflare), language model for workspace answers (Anthropic, via Cloudflare AI Gateway), operational logs (Better Stack via Logpush), application error monitoring (Sentry), and self-serve payments (Stripe). Metering and the credit ledger stay on Cloudflare D1.

Third-party systems a workspace chooses to connect as content sources (for example GitHub, Confluence, or similar) are not DevDocs subprocessors. They are Customer's own integrations; Customer controls whether to connect them and what content to authorize.

We will update this list when a subprocessor is added or removed. If you have a standing notification requirement in your agreement with us, contact privacy@devdocs.ai and we will make sure changes reach you directly rather than relying on you checking this page.

Platform infrastructure: edge network and TLS termination, compute (Workers), databases (D1), object storage (R2, including the append-only audit store), vector search (Vectorize), model inference (Workers AI, for retrieval embeddings), AI Gateway (routes and logs calls to our model provider), transactional email (Email Service), queues and workflows for source ingest, and bot mitigation (Turnstile) on the contact form.	Global network; account administered from the United States.
Anthropic, PBC	Provides the language model behind the AI assistant that answers visitor and member questions from a workspace's own content, reached exclusively through Cloudflare AI Gateway. Used only when a model call is required. Anthropic does not train on the content we send under its commercial terms for this use. The apex marketing FAQ assistant does not use Anthropic; it answers from a local FAQ database only.	United States.
Better Stack, Inc.	Platform observability: Cloudflare Workers Trace Events and operational logs drained via Logpush for reliability, debugging, and incident response. Not used as a third-party tracker on workspace documentation hosts. Optional aggregate marketing analytics on hosted.devdocs.ai only, when that path is enabled and only after cookie consent. Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry)	Application error monitoring and performance traces for the hosted.devdocs.ai Worker and apex application, so we can detect and fix failures. Events may include request paths, stack traces, and related diagnostic metadata. We configure the SDK to avoid sending request bodies and default personally identifiable information. Not used as a marketing tracker on workspace documentation hosts.	United States (Sentry US region for this product).
Stripe, Inc.	Payment processing for self-serve plan upgrades and credit packs: Checkout sessions and webhook delivery. Stripe receives the payment details the customer enters on Stripe-hosted pages; DevDocs stores only the Stripe customer and subscription or payment references needed to grant entitlements and credits. Metering and the credit ledger remain on Cloudflare D1.	United States and other Stripe-operated regions.
